American Riviera Bank is lighting up lives through heartfelt giving initiatives that extend far beyond the Bank’s branches. From Paso Robles to Montecito, our staff came together to celebrate the season.
In Santa Barbara, American Riviera Bank once again joined forces with United Way of Santa Barbara County for its annual Gift Drive, transforming wishes into reality for eight local children from low-resource households. The program connects those who have the opportunity to give with children who could use a little extra holiday magic.
United Way provides wish lists for each child, and our team gladly takes on the role of Santa. With approximately 75 gifts distributed among the eight families, we hope to help bring smiles to the faces of our youngest community members.

Each year, the Gift Drive turns into a team celebration, complete with a wrapping party and ugly sweaters. Team members come together to wrap each gift with care before delivering them to the United Way office.

This year, American Riviera Bank participated in the Festival of Trees, an Optimist International event that raises critical funds for youth programs throughout the community. Our Atascadero branch employees, Karin Smith and Sierra Davick, showcased their creative spirit by decorating a magical tree for the festival. The branch’s commitment to children doesn’t stop there—the Atascadero location also serves as a local collection point for new, unwrapped toys during the holiday season for both Toys for Tots and the local Toy Bank, bringing hope and smiles to children this holiday season.
Just up the road in Paso Robles, American Riviera Bank is helping meet immediate needs through Coats for Kids. The program gives the gift of warmth to ensure children stay comfortable during the winter months. Our Paso branch serves as a donation center, accepting new or gently used clean coats, jackets, sweaters, and sweatshirts.

Like Atascadero, the Paso team is participating in Toy Bank, collecting toys, games, playground balls, stuffed animals, books, arts and crafts, and more for approximately 1,400 to 1,600 children each year. Additionally, ARB participates in the Christmas Angel Program, in partnership with SLO County Probation Department, bringing holiday joy, connection, and hope to children facing challenges, regardless of their family circumstances.
As a community bank, we are proud of our team for building relationships, supporting families, and investing in the future of the Central Coast. From all of us at American Riviera Bank, thank you for helping make this season brighter—and here’s to a season of giving.
