At American Riviera Bank, your deposits are covered by the FDIC for up to $250,000 per depositor. You may have more coverage depending on the ownership of your accounts.
You can use the FDIC's Electronic Deposit Insurance Estimator (EDIE) to estimate your insurance coverage.
In addition to the FDIC insurance you receive on your ARB deposits, banks can place reciprocal deposits in other banks through a process known as deposit placement services. As a member of IntraFi® Network DepositsSM, ARB offers additional options such as Certificates of Deposit Registry Services (CDARS) and Insured Cash Sweep (ICS) accounts to place reciprocal deposits with other banks. This allows for access of up to $50 million in FDIC insurance, while maintaining a single bank relationship with ARB. The FDIC recognizes that “reciprocal deposits may be a more stable source of funding for healthy banks1.”
