American Riviera Bank is proud to announce that Jason Wilson, Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Banking Officer, has been named the fourth recipient of the Bank's Larry Koppelman Honorary Award. Named in honor of founding Board Chair Larry Koppelman, the award is the Bank’s most prestigious employee recognition and honors team members who demonstrate exceptional service to clients and meaningful commitment to the communities we serve.

Jason Wilson has been a valued member of American Riviera Bank since November 2013. A fourth-generation Santa Barbara native, he is known for his dedication to clients and his longstanding involvement in the community, supporting the people and organizations that make Santa Barbara such a vibrant place to live and work.
Jason’s volunteer service includes leadership and board roles with organizations focused on athletics, civic engagement, and community well-being. In 2025 alone, Jason contributed nearly 250 volunteer hours to local organizations and events including the Santa Barbara Athletic Roundtable and Old Spanish Days.
Through his community involvement, Jason also serves as a trusted ambassador for American Riviera Bank, helping strengthen relationships between the Bank and the people, businesses, and organizations we serve. As part of this recognition, Jason received a $2,000 personal award and directed a $1,000 donation to the nonprofit organization of his choice, Hope Community Church.

"I am extremely honored to receive this award and feel blessed to have the opportunity to work for a bank that supports the community we serve," said Wilson. "Thank you, American Riviera Bank."
Jason was presented with the award on June 17, surrounded by colleagues and members of the Board of Directors. While Larry Koppelman was unable to attend, he shared his congratulations and appreciation for Jason's commitment to service and community leadership. Jason's example reflects the purpose of the Larry Koppelman Honorary Award and the community-focused values that continue to guide American Riviera Bank.
“Jason represents the kind of leadership and community commitment this award was created to recognize,” said Joanne Funari, Chief Operating Officer. “His dedication to clients, colleagues, and the Santa Barbara community reflects the values that have guided our Bank since the beginning – values that Larry himself lives out daily.”

Previous Larry Koppelman Award recipients include Rechelle Ringer, Neil Amarante, and Matthew Limon.
